The sustainability situation assessment of universities has been completed with the support of the Visegrad Fund

The aim of the research is to map out the steps universities have taken so far for sustainability and to explore further opportunities to accelerate the green transition.
The assessment involved renowned institutions such as the University of Pécs, Masaryk University, J. Selye University, Jagiellonian University, the University of Sarajevo, and the University of Montenegro, as well as the Pannon European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (Pannon EGTC), which is responsible for coordinating the project.
The research highlighted that although universities are at different levels in terms of green initiatives, all are committed to sustainable development. As part of their strategies, universities implement educational programs, research projects, and operational sustainability measures, such as waste reduction, green transportation options, and the development of energy-efficient infrastructure.
