The implementation of the CROSSDEST project has begun

On November 1, the project titled "Cross-Border Destination Development for Inclusive and Sustainable Tourism in the Slovenian-Hungarian Border Area" (CROSSDEST) commenced.

The partners in the project are: Hévíz Tourist Nonprofit Ltd. (HU), Pannon EGTC (HU-SI-HR), Murska Sobota Development Center (SI), Tourism and Development Institute Lendava (SI), Good Place Sustainable Tourism Institute (SI), Sárvár Tourist & TDM Nonprofit Ltd. (HU), and Innotime Hungary Consulting and Service Ltd.

In the first month of the project, partners began preparing activities for their respective project parts, employment contracts were signed with participants involved in the project, and a joint discussion was held regarding the date and attendees for the Kick-off meeting scheduled for January 2025 in Hévíz.

A project coordinator, financial manager, and local product project leader from Pannon EGTC will be participating. On December 3, 2024, the partners held a joint online meeting for a professional discussion. The participants discussed general information related to the implementation and coordinated tasks related to the Kick-off Meeting to be held on January 15, 2025, in Hévíz.

As part of the project, a unified quality management system, a monitoring system, pilot projects will be developed, and a tourism database will be created based on unified principles.
