Direct sources represent outstanding financing opportunities, since the 2021-2027 in the annual EU budget, they amount to a total of about 340 billion euros. The tender objectives designated by the 24 different Funds belonging to this circle prioritize a number of priority industries (e.g. energy sector, agriculture, healthcare) and several important development methods (e.g. digitization, innovation, entry into foreign markets), the importance of greening and climate protection also keeping in mind.

Based on the cooperation agreement, the MFOI, an expert in EU funding, provides advice to the Pannon EGTC, which ensures us to improve the possibility of direct access to EU funds and successful applications, the mapping of potential funds and the targeted presentation of funds, and the performance of tender project management tasks until the tender material is submitted, in the case of jointly developed projects, it recommends tender writing companies for the tender writing, and also provides assistance in the generation of international partnerships, and in the mapping and channeling of a suitable international consortium in the case of the selected projects.

On the part of the Pannon EGTC, the main aspect is to find direct European Union tender opportunities in which we can also involve the Western Balkan partners. Joint work has begun, and potential sources are currently being mapped.
